I looked in the KB and I don't see much on this error. I just installed Ex 2000 a few days ago and I am trying to clean up all of the errors:
Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeSRS Event Category: LDAP Interface Event ID: 1309 Date: 05/23/2002 Time: 1:11:53 PM User: N/A Computer: TRUCK Description: Register LDAP SSL protocol failed with error 10048. The LDAP SSL server is not available. Make sure port number 44843 is not used by another application.
