Outlook 2000 Exchange 5.5 Sp4 Go into a public folder were the users in Question have Publishing Editor rights. Turn on the Preview Pane on the folder. If you go to the top half were the post is listed in the folder (a word doc was dragged and dropped in) and double-click it opens fine and you can edit, save etc. If you go to the doc icon in the preview pane and double click or right click --> open it opens it as read-only Anyone know why?
