What was the user doing prior to this problem?

It is possible that the Office keys in the registry is whacked on that PC.
Suggest a reburn. If you don't want to reburn, you may try uninstalling
Office altogether with the Remove All option, reboot, and try a fresh
install. It'll probably be faster to just reburn the box though.

PS: Your disclaimer is pretty dumb. If you have to put it down because your
legal dept says so, then your attorneys are dumb.

Subject: [Outlook Client] Missing fields in appointment

Hello,

One of our users is experiencing a problem with his appointments in Outlook.
When he creates a new appointment, or opens an existing one (already passed
or still to come) no fields are displayed to enter or choose a location or
to select an online meeting service, they are disappeared.

It seems to be machine dependend because the problem doesn't occur if the
user uses another machine, and the problem still occur if other users use
his computer. Office 2000 has been re-installed but didn' solve the problem.

I searched Technet and related sources on the internet but am still unable
to find a solution. (I posted this problem with a screenshot but the message
was rejected).

Did someone see (or just didn't) this before ?

Environment: Windows NT4 SP6 / Outlook 2000 (CW) / Exchange Server 5.5.

Philippe
