We are going to attempt to shut down the first server in our site, have another server already up. I have moved all mailboxes, replicated public folders and done everything that I found in the MS article Q152959. Can anyone tell me of potential pitfalls they have experienced? I am doing this to get ready to go to AD and Win2k Exchange. I have to shut down the first Exchange server because my predecessor was smart enough to make it a BDC. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. I'm new to the group and will probably provide some laughs asking questions you have seen before. I'll try to limit them.
