Hi there

Is this a mixed site?? I had a similar problem when someone installed a new
site connector and set the cost to 1. I set the cost to 10, stopped and
started the MTA and SMTP and I found all my outbound mail, and it was all
sent.

Thanks

Russell

Do you have an SMTP Connector or just a virtual server?

Thank you, for the advice. It is working better. BUT now i can send
mail from the child domain internally and receive external mail to the
child domain. But i can't send external, i don't get a NDR message, the
recipient never gets it. I can't find it que'ed anywhere either? Any
ideas?

James

Run Exchange 2000 "Setup /DomainPrep" in that domain.
Set up a Recipient Update Service for that domain.

Subject: CHILD DOMAIN

We have recently added a child domain to our current domain. Which
consists of two back end servers and one front end server, ALL W2K.
Anyway i would like the users in the child domain to be able to use the
parent domain exchange servers. Could anyone point me in the right
direction. i have found several references to this issue but no
solution.

Thank you,

James Whitlock
