That does not show me the folder contents, it only shows the size of the
Outlook today folder

In which case you need to do what has already been said a number of times
and get rid of the default of show home page.

Using OL2000 and yes I see that, but what I am looking for is to access that
folder and delete/move the contents. That folder is not visible like others
are.

I'm not sure what client you are using, but it works fine for me (OL 2002).
The top of the store isn't listed in the list you describe - it is above
that in the two lines of folder size and folder+subfolder size (it is the
folder size, BTW). The one below is the entire mailbox size.

My meaning of breakdown is, when you go into the properties of the Outlook
Today - [Mailbox -
your name] and click on folder size, you see a breakdown of every folder
listed under it. The top of Information store is not one of them. A quick
test will prove my point. Verify the folder size of your Outlook Today -
[Mailbox - your name], now create a new message with a known size attachment
and send it to yourself. Check the folder size again and it should have
increased by the size of the new message. Now, take that message and drag
it onto your Outlook Today - [Mailbox - your name], the entire mailbox size
will remain the same, however, the size of your inbox folder will be
decreased by the size of the message you moved. You will not see where this
message has been moved to because you can't look at the Top of Information
Store and the only way to see if there are some messages there, is to do an
advanced find.

It has been my experience, that when users complain about having a full
mailbox and swear they are under the limit, I check for messages in their
Outlook Today - [Mailbox - your name]and walla, they their are.

Im not sure what you mean by breakdown. The "Folder Size" *is* the size of
the folder in the question. So if you are looking at the properties of
"Outlook Today" folder (i.e. The top of the Information Store) , that is its
size. Unchecking that box should remove the "Outlook Today" pane and restore
the "regular" folder view and allow you to easily see any emails that may be
in that folder.

True, but it will not show a breakdown of that Top of Information Store
folder. It only shows a total of everything. Unchecking the "Show Home
Page" did nothing for me.

Actually, it does show the folder size.
Its listed above the subfolders dialog box: Folder Size: nk
Total Size (Fld + SubFldr) : nnnK

Another way to easily get to it is to uncheck the "Show Home Page" box under
the Properties/Home Page tab for the "Outlook Today" folder.

Check "Top of Information Store", people always seem to put mail in here for
some reason. It won't show up when you check folder size, you have to do an
advanced find. Try dragging a message to your Outlook Today - [Mailbox -
your name], and then do an advanced find for this message and you'll see
what I mean.
