Someday in other messaging server product newsgroups, people will be asking "Why doesn�t my email server use more of the memory? I have 1GB RAM and it's only using 200MB? Why is my email server wasting all that RAM?"
At my last position, store.exe held almost a full GB of RAM. It was sweet! That server hummed! No problem. No memory leak. E2K SP2 on Windows Server. The store continues to suck up memory. Not to the point of total max. memory, but I have found that after the store.exe process consumes over 300MB, it's all over. Running Trend Scanmail 5.0, and there was an issue with E2K SP2 installed after Anti-Virus SW, but trend says that has been fixed. I recommend building E2K on Adv. Server is you have the $. Otherwise use the E2K memory management tools and options. I say memory leak!
