Hello all, I am newly appointed Exchange Admin so please bear with me if this question seems a bit pedestrian.
I have a hub server in one domain that is the IMS for my entire Exchange Org. (Exchange 5.5 SP4/WNT 4 SP6a and all relative hotfixes). This server is the only one connected to the internet, it has no user mailboxes residing on it. I have 6 sites outside of this one in 6 separate domains. These are all connected (via X.400 connectors) to the hub server for internet and internal communications. The 6 other sites have no other X.400 connectors to each other, just the hub server. Now, my quandary is this, if I break the NT domain trusts between one of the 6 domain/sites and the domain that the hub server resides in and re-create them, what are the ramifications of doing so? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I can't seem to find any documentation on this.
