If you're starting completely fresh, then your old servers are irrelevant. Just run setup while logged in with an account that is a member of Schema Admins and Enterprise Admins.

Right now I have an exchange 5.5 server in domain OLD. I have a 2000 server in domain NEW that I am going to put exchange 2k on. I will be using a different organization and site name from the 5.5 server. There is a trust between domains OLD and NEW. I have tried many different things to get this done but run into security or permission problems here and there. So now, what would be the best way to install exchange 2k in the new server in the NEW domain to prepare for this? I figure to just install with the new org and site. Also is there anything I must or should do before or after the initial installation of exchange 2k? Just looking for a little guidance since going on my own and learning as I do is not working out the best so far. Thanks. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
