I am restoring the Information Store to a recovery server that was backed up with NT Backup. I have been restoring for about 4 hours now and I am beginning to wonder if I am just spinning my wheels. Does anyone know if a restore throws the data right back to d:\exchsrvr\mdbdata\pub.edb | priv.edb or to a temp file first and then to the file? The size of the .edb's has not changed in the four hours . . .priv.edb is 18 gb and pub is 4 gb. And I am sure there is no way to say "Just give me the Pub.edb"?
