Hi All,

We are in the process of moving Exchange 5.5 from an old server to a
new server with the old server being retired after the move. I opted for the
Ed Crowley Server Move process because it sounded like less of a headache.

Last night I started step 5 which is the "Create replicas of the
public folders on the new server..." step and gave it overnight to replicate
which is enough time because our public folders really aren't that
big...yet. When I came in this morning, I checked the Folder Replication
Status on both servers and there seems to be a few folders still
replicating, I think.

The "old" server (Server A) shows 7 folders in the Folder
Replication Status window, 3 with a status of In Sync and 4 with a status of
Local Modified. The "new" server (Server B) shows 10 folders, 1 with a
status of In Sync, 2 with a status of Both Modified and 7 with a status of
Local Modified. Both Server A and B both show 106 folder in the Public
Folder Resources window.

Could someone shed some light on what this means exactly? People are
currently using the public folders and the replication schedule is set to
Always with a 15 min interval. I also made sure that I did step 2 first,
which was to change the location of the mailboxes' public folder server to
the new server.

Thanks in advance,

Joe Rojas
