Hi all...
I'm running Exchange 5.5 sp4 on a winNT box. I have a satellite office
coming through an ssh tunnel to get to the server as imap clients. When I
configure MX so that my imap clients can send mail outside our domain, I'm
finding myself being used as a spam relay. When I change the routing
restrictions the spam relay goes away but my imap clients can't send.
Config where imaps can send/open relay occurs:
checked hosts and clients that successfully authenticate
checked hosts and clients with these IP Addresses:
IP.Address for email senderI
IP.Address for email senderII
checked hosts and clients that connect to these internal addresses:
IP.Address for MX server
SSH Tunnel for imap clients goes out from satellite fw to in-house box;
in-house box port forwards 25 to mx box.
Tried adding satellite fw ip address to 'hosts and clients with these IP
Addresses' section, no help. Tried adding ip address of in-house box to
the 'hosts and clients that connect to these internal addresses' box, no
help.
What am I missing??
