We have the following setup using E5.5:

1 org, 2 countries. Each has their own NT domain (no trust), connected over
IMS Connected site/Directory replication connectors. One our side,
hub/spoke design with the IMS in the hub, address space set for * with a
cost of 1. Examining the routing table under site addressing, this is the
only * route.

In the lab, setting up the same scenario. Installing e2k machine in hub,
address space of *, cost of 1. Relaying mail to a smarthost.
Examining the routing table, now I see 2 wildcard routes: the new e2k
machine's, and another over to the other country's IMS (via connected site).
This is behavior we do not want nor expect, and while it is unlikely that it
will occur it is still a possibility. Restricting the scopes will not work
since both sides use hub/spoke method.

Are we taking advantage (currently) of something unexpected, or is there a
way to do what we'd like to do? Any assistance would be appreciated.
