First, I should have a headcount. If this is to happen, it will likely be one of those by-invitation-only deals (since we have to know, when shopping for sponsorship, what kind of an event they'll be getting themselves in for). Therefore, if you think you really might attend such an event, please reply (TO ME!!!! NOT TO THE LIST!!!!), leaving subject line intact. I'll tally the responses one week hence, and include respondents in future correspondence about such an event, should we find a sponsor, a place to gather, and enough beer to keep everyone entertained for an hour or two. No future postings will appear on the list about this event, so you have to reply if you want to attend. This is a great way to meet all the fabulous people whose posts you read daily, even if - Oops! - you thought you'd never have to face them in person. You have to reply by July 31st - offline - to be included.
