Ok, maybe this should be obvious, but I'm not finding an exact answer &
have to be 100% positive, don't want microsoft police after me. Any
clarification would be greatly appreciated..

As an ISP, I want to provide E2K mailboxes to our dial-up customers
(whichever wants one in addition to their regular UNIX POP accounts).
On MS's site I find analysis of ISP needs, case studies, but no actual
licensing requirements. I would suspect there are some, but, where can
I find them? If I have a copy of E2K server, I can just set it up & go?
Somehow, I seriously doubt it...

To host exchange for other companies, do I have to be a Microsoft
Certified Partner ASP? They say that the Certified ASP gets special
licensing, but, also that a company can choose to get their own license
& outsource it's management to a service provider. If we are hosting
other companies' exchange servers, & they have licenses, do we need to
be a Certified Partner? For that matter, can we get licenses on behalf
of customers even if we're not Certified. The information I've read
seems to imply that it's optional (good selling point, lots of benifits,
but optional). Not that I don't believe it would be a good idea to be
certified, just, it requires 2 people to be MCPs, well, there's only
me... I need to tell my boss one way or the other.

Thanks for any leads,

Wendy
