Once or twice a day my SMTP connector (exch2k sp3) that sends and receives internet mail to a smart host (Mail sweeper for SMTP) logs this event (below) and can't connect to the smart host for about a minute or so. I know it is not a network issue. We are not running any server level AV on the exchange server, but we are running Sophos on the Gateway. Any ideas what would be causing this to happen? Any comments are greatly welcomed. Thanks.
