Sites and subnets are properly configured. However, this does not help
since replication takes a finite amount of time. Therefore, if a contact
is flipped to a mailbox on a particular DC, it will take an unspecified
amount of time to replicate that change throughout the organization. Since
email migrations may be occurring anywhere within a large organization, it
slows the process down waiting for this information to replicate to the
appropriate DC. Because one cannot control which DC the Exchange Migration
Wizard is using, the entire process comes to a screeching halt until the
particular DC in question gets the update. If it were possible to control
which DC the Exchange Migration Wizard utilizes, one could avoid this
delay.

So, does anyone know of a way to pull this off or is it simply not
possible and we have to rely on whatever magic Microsoft uses to determine
which DC to connect to?
