Running Exchange in mixed mode, with final exchange 5.5 server ready to be removed. I have changed the site addressing to my new ex2000 server and recalculated routing, but, noticed that email is still going out via the IMS on the Ex5.5 server. Inbound mail comes in OK, just outgoing email goes out via the Ex5.5 IMS. I've stopped the services - but - guess that I actually need to remove the IMS from the ex5.5 server in-order to get mail routed outbound via ex2000.
Do I need to setup a new smtp connector in ex2000 or is this automatic after I removed the ex5.5 IMS?
