Actually - I'm doing exactly that, but using Squid proxy rather than Apache (seeing as Apache is starting to get near IIS in number of security holes!).
Its not fully documented yet, but we're using a squid box (on OpenBSD) as an SSL accelerator in front of the OWA box, and its working quite well at this point. ------------------------------------------------------ Roger D.
