I've managed to work out what it is. IS = Information store, NJE is concerned with logical units and SNA. Presumably isnje joins the two. If it couldn't run for some reason - which is what happened yesterday - SNA won't work with exchange, which in turn means the connection services for PROFS calendars and mail can't run, hence why the conncetor failed. A reboot sorted the problem out, though whether the failing is derived from some activity on the mainframe or the Exchange server has yet to be ascertained.
