Overall, I must agree, a pretty good article. I had my doubts considering some of the garbage that I have seen out of David Berlin. RBL's, while intended for good are a pathetic solution and end up causing more harm than good. That much is obvious to everyone except the RBL's themselves. RBL's are a good example of a bunch of wacko's overreacting to a problem and jumping on a bandwagon that pitches a solution that cuts off one's nose to spite one's face. Idiots.
What we need to do to solve the problem is to create an RBLRBL organization (Realtime Blackhole List for Realtime Blackhole Lists) and blacklist all of these idiots that are trying to influence and control how the Internet is used. That last sentence is completely tongue-in-cheek. I wanted to make that clear just in case anyone from an RBL is reading this because I am certain that they are too ignorant to catch the sarcasm. > Found this interesting article on Zdnet about blacklist and some > alternative solutions to stopping spam: > > http://techupdate.zdnet.com/techupdate/stories/main/0,14179,2897473,00.h > tml _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:leave-exchange@;ls.swynk.com Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
