Point take. :) Although I just did the ldp.exe test (on another changed mailbox) at our remotest branch and the size appears right but the user can't send mail of course. I understand though that it's probably our plethora of DC's. Don't know if it would make a difference, but they are all in their own sites.

I have already created a batch file that uses repadmin /syncall to replicate the domain immediately.
