Hey all, I have some more information after much debugging. I have 2 servers in a single site. ServerA is for our Faculty and Staff, ServerB is for our Students.
If I set the Alternate Recipient for a Faculty or Staff member whose mailbox is located on ServerA, mail delivery to the Alternate Recipient via the mailbox works, delivering to just the AR or to both the mailbox or the AR. If I set the Alternate Recipient for a Student whose mailbox is located on ServerB, mail delivery succeeds locally to the mailbox but does not reach the Alternate Recipient. Ideas why this may be? Not sure what is going on, am seach the net and the archives hoping to find something similar to this, but have found nothing so far. One thing to note is that mail delivery fails there are no errors or logs. If the message is in queue, I don't see an entry for it and I have yet to receive a message, but also when I have selected 'Deliver message to both recipient and alternate recipient' I do not receive the message locally either. Ideas? Running Exchange 5.5 SP3, WinNT Sp6a. Am considering upgrading to SP4 since it is high time but I do not want to add too many spices to the recipie since I've just undergone a big move.
