Hi All, We have a very strange issue here, windows 2000 file and print server and 2000 Prof clients runnig office 2000. when users access word docs on the local machines, everything is perfectly fine, but when they access the word docs on the server, it works fine to open the docs.... but to save or close it takes ages... and happens only with word docs... no other file or program.. excel works fine, everything works fine... no event logs on either the server or the client workstations....nothing at all.. I searched the support sites and came across suggestions of outlook 2000 and turning off the journalling option... this does not apply to our case.. since the outlook journal option mentioned is already disabled.... Can some one throw some more light on this strnage error....???
