I've got a problem with emails to public folders. Config is : mixed mode Exchange 2000 sp3 on W2k, sp3 and Exchange 5.5 sp4 on NT4 sp6
A few days ago an additional E2k server was added to our site. That server has since been shutdown as it is being moved to another office. The server has a mailbox store, no mailboxes have been created on it yet, and it also has a Public folder store. There are no PF replicas on there yet. The problem is that since the server was shutdown all message to public folders are being queued for delivery to that server. For example I've got a public folder subscribed to this list and in the SMTP queues on our SMTP servers I can see lots of messages from the list in the queues for delivery to the new server. I noticed last week that messages to public folders were going via another new server that was added to the site last week. Then when the next server (the one currently switched off) was added , the messages started going to that one. So, can anyone advise how I can force the messages that are in the queue to be delivered and does anyone know why the messages seem to want to go to the most recently added server even though it hasn't got replicas of the public folders ? Thank you, Maria _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
