This is bugging me, not really a major problem, just annoying. Here's the
setup:

Exchange 5.5 on W2K
2 NICs, one "public" 68.164.141.195, one private 10.100.10.211
The public NIC has a default route, the prive NIC doesn't.

Exchange seems to be attempting a UDP connection on port 137 over the public
interface USING THE PRIATE IP. I'm seeing the firewall drop connections:

Filter set 'Firewall' Violation - srcIP = 10.100.10.211 dstIP =
204.180.138.3 size: 96, protocol: UDP, src port: 137 dst port: 137.

I believe this is coming from the public interface however because I don't
see the connection attempt in the machine that routes between our internal
network and the internet and the private interface doesn't have a default
route so it wouldn't know how to get out of 10.100.10.x anyway.

Any idea what this connection attempt is, and can I stop it?

Thanks,
-Walden
