Hello everyone, I have big trouble with Exchange Server 5.5 SP4. Let me explain:
1)I have Backupexec 8.6 running on W2K server SP3+Outlook client and Exchange Server Administrator GUI SP4 for backing up the Exchange Server. 2)I have another W2K box running OWA and Exchange Administrator GUI SP4. 3)I have an Exchange Server 5.5 SP4 on NT Server SP6a. I did couples of update on the Exchange Server in order to patch IE6 and restart the Exchange Server. After the reboot none of the above boxes could connect to the Exchange Server anymore, Backupexec or OWA. Here is the error messages I got from does box while there is no error message or problem in the Exchange Server itself: "A connection could not be made to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer "ExchangeName" The Microsoft Exchange Server computer does not respond Microsoft exchange Directory ID n:DS_E_COMMUNICATIONS_PROBLEMS" Ok, I did test connectivity with Exchange Server (PING, TRACERT, UNC, etc..) everything works fine on both sides. I did Verify that all the boxes have the same Exchange SP4. I did run the "nltest" in the restkit in order to reset the secure channel. Off course, all the boxes are in the same subnet and can ping each other. The PCD has an exchange Administrator GUI and it doesn't have any problem connecting to the Exchange Server! and I can also connect to the Exchange server from other Exchange Servers in my organization but not with the above two boxes (unisntall, re-install, patched all the rquired services so that CDO;DLL and the MAPI32.DLL will have the same version) It does not work!!! I keep on getting the same error messages. Do you have any idea or do you know what to do in order to solve this issue? I suspect is a mapi or cdo related issues but how can I fix it? Thanks for your help, Regards Serge _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
