I can accept that, I didn't say it was bad method. My hang up with your solution (from my point of view) is that your mail system still had to process the messages; the mail system had to spend resources to deliver it. Your client computers had to spend resources on processing it, including space on there computer for the software. They likely had to set up rules to process what is or is not junk.
