Good Lord. You know sometimes if accomplishing a users request is very difficult it might be a hint that the best way to solve the problem to re-train the user (not always, but sometimes). Those requests are what happens when users aren't trained on the app when they first use it.
This week I got: "I like to keep some of my mail in Deleted Items folder and sort them later, how can I do this and delete the ones I don't want to keep?". As if keeping them in the Inbox and sorting from there wouldn't work... Who's time is more critical - from a management point of view - in servicing this request, yours or theirs? Or put another way, if you're paid $200/day and it takes you 16 hours over two weeks to fix it, is it worth $400 to satisfy the user?
