In my opinion, the issue isn't so much e-mail but the fact that most people want nothing to do with security. They consider it a hassle; an obstacle to overcome. As long as that attitude persists, trying to share information in a secure fashion is hopeless. I could hack together a working proof-of-concept for secure external email using PGP/GPG in a day. But getting people to use it properly? *That* would be hard. -- Ben Scott <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | The opinions expressed in this message are those of the author and do | | not represent the views or policy of any other person or organization. | | All information is provided without warranty of any kind. | _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
