We've been using it for several years to back up our Exchange databases, the
associated file systems on NT 4.0, as well as our Novell NetWare 4.x and 5.x
servers, our AIX servers...everything EXCEPT our mainframe.

Exchange database backups have been wonderfully trouble-free, and sometimes
managed to work even when the filesystems couldn't be backed up. That had
something to do with speed/duplex mis-matches between the server NIC and the
Cisco switch.

On the other hand, we apparently have a Novell Netware server that cannot be
restored. The back up appears to be corrupted. Not my area, thankfully.

Anyone using IBM's Tivoli Storage Manager for backing up Exchange? Got
any thoughts (good or bad) you'd like to share on the product?
