We're here to help, but a lot of people on this list do tease people a little - don't take it personally.
And most of us do expect people to make some kind of effort to figure things out themselves and read the help guides, etc, before expecting us to help. It's one thing to be stuck on a problem and need help and it's another to expect people on the list to do our job for us because "I'm busy" or "Asking the list is quicker". Your time is a valuable resource; everyone else's is, too. Welcome to the list.
