Wade, I had the same problem with two different servers. In both cases it was the APC UPS. Replaced the UPS and I never seen the problem again

I can not find anything that runs as a task on Tuesday and there is no evidence in the application logs of anything wrong other than "system shutdown was unexpected". The server has not had any configuration changes other than Exchange SP 3 a few months ago. When the server reboots I get a SMTPSRV event 5000 "The message file 'C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\Queue\NTFS_5cab8dfd01c329ba00074962.EML' in the queue directory 'C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\Queue' is corrupt and has not been enumerated" I can not believe a corrupt message could be causing the reboot. Has anyone had a similar experience?
