Hello! We block MPEG files with ScanMail 3.81 from coming into our Exchange server. When the ScanMail sees the attachment, it will remove and it insert a text message explaining that it was removed. So far so good. The problem is that Outlook thinks the message size is still 2 MB or 3MB depending on the size attachment it removed despite attachment has been removed from the message. The message size should be no bigger than 1KB since the attachment was removed and it has a notification message.
Exchange Server 5.5 SP4 ScanMail 3.81 on Windows 2000 servers. I am wondering if anyone has encountered this before...
