Config: - mydomain.net - 2 Exchange servers, 2000 Standard Edition, Windows 2000 adv server SP3, Exchange SP3, 2 GC AD controllers (4 seperate machines total)
- remotesite.mydomain.net - 1 Exchange server, 2000 Standard Edition, Windows 2000 adv server SP3, Exchange SP3, 1 AD controller for child domain (1 machine total) Scenario: - Users test1, test2, test3 live on root AD domain "mydomain.net", in some datacentre. 2 AD servers, both GC's, "server1, server2" - Users Exchange Mailbox was originally on E2K server at some datacentre, server is "mailserver1" - VPN link created from some datacentre to some remote site - remote site has AD child domain controller (primary/only), called "remoteserver1" in child domain "remotesite.mydomain.net" - the remotesite AD domain controller also runs E2K, for said child domain "remotesite.mydomain.net" - Moved Mailbox to the new E2K server remoteserver1 at remote site. Wish to use OWA : If I login to OWA on server remoteserver1, as administrator of remotesite.mydomain.net, no issues, logs in fine. If I login to OWA on server remoteserver1, as atestuser of remotesite.mydomain.net, i get asked for the login 3 times, then get "Error: Access Is Denied" If I login to OWA on server remoteserver1, as test1, of mydomain.net, i get asked 3 times for the login, then get "HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized" So, I'm a tad confused, I sort of realise the issue is most likely permissions, but where. Unfortunately the most promising MS Knowledgebase article I found was "currently unavailable" when I was looking earlier. Any suggestions for what the issues may be, and more importantly what I need to do/check/fix/repair to make this work? My knowledge of OWA is weak as I've never had cause to enable/use it until now.
