Why do you not want to use OWA?

It is quite expensive to get mail via dialup, especially when the user has
to visit outside countries. We want to make use of some technique which
can help us get the e-mail via web browser. Please note that we dont wannt
to / can't use the OWA and Dial up.

Has anyone tried any programming techniques to do so?

I'll appreciate any input on this grave issue...
