Hi Tony:

The options I know about are Net I.Q.'s App Analyzer and the Promodag
report writer.  Both these tools will cost you dearly but do report
against the message tracking log. I understand there is a fair amount of
overhead with both  approaches as Promodag pumps everything into a SQL
database that you report against.

Imanami offers a free report writer called SmartR.  It provides a number
of reports on DL's including the last time the list was modified.
Unfortunately, SmartR does not yet provide a report that shows the last
time the list was expanded.  This requires analysis of the message
tracking log.  Currently, SmartR only reports against directory
attributes.  SmartR is currently being modified to monitor the tracking
log and record every time a list is expended.  While this will give you
what you need, you need to wait until 9/23/03 for SmartR 2.0 to be
released.
