Hi Tony: The options I know about are Net I.Q.'s App Analyzer and the Promodag report writer. Both these tools will cost you dearly but do report against the message tracking log. I understand there is a fair amount of overhead with both approaches as Promodag pumps everything into a SQL database that you report against.
Imanami offers a free report writer called SmartR. It provides a number of reports on DL's including the last time the list was modified. Unfortunately, SmartR does not yet provide a report that shows the last time the list was expanded. This requires analysis of the message tracking log. Currently, SmartR only reports against directory attributes. SmartR is currently being modified to monitor the tracking log and record every time a list is expended. While this will give you what you need, you need to wait until 9/23/03 for SmartR 2.0 to be released. In the time being check out and download SmartR free at http://www.imanami.com/products/smartr/ Kevin -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Woods, Tony Sent: Wednesday, August 06, 2003 9:40 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Monitoring DL Usage > Hello, > > I would like to monitor the use of our many DL's to see if they're > even being used.
