Well Im sure there's ton you could do...and many on the list are far more experienced then me.
But for me what I did is purchased a simple and quick monitor system recommend by someone on this list a while ago ActivXperts now it's not perfect..it has it's features but for like $100.00 I can monitor up too 20 servers (more if I needed more and paided more) I have it e-mail my cell with problems and if it fixed them (restarts..etc) if my T or exchange server goes down I have it dial a modem and call my cell....since if the T or exchange server is down..no e-mail is likely to pass.. It does all kind's of stuff; supports additional scripting etc.. there is also Big Brother which is supposed to be sweet...and other products too...
