Perhaps he's an experienced admin who doesn't understand why people simply don't try and find answers. Next you'll be asking "how do I start my coffee maker". How many times do you complain at your network users for not bothering to follow simple procedures like "my PC is broken, reboot it, still got the problem, ok, we'll look it it", yet you deploy the same level of cluelessness here.
