Hank, a VPN is going to be the solution you have to impliment. You are correct about the ISP's. They are not going to open up 135 again. Even if some do, most will not. Let me ask a couple of questions.
How many users do you have? What VPN solution were you testing? What did you mean in the statement below? Are you saying that when someone connected via VPN, they could not access the internet at the same time? If so, try this (this is for XP or W2K): After saving the VPN connection, right click on the VPN Connection and Networking, Then the properites for TCP/IP, Click Advanced, and UNCHECK the box that says Use Default Gateway. Save. -----Original Message----- From: Hank [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, August 24, 2003 12:18 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Port 135 and Exchange Issue We have tried to implement a VPN solution, but now realize that unless we run the connection on our client and have a full internet connection at the same time, this will not work for us. We do not know how to do this. We must have full access to the internet and exchange at the same time because of the nature of our service we provide. Any ideas?
