Hi, if you want to open ports for your users to be able to send mail you have to open the following ports:
SMTP (inbound/outbound mail): 25 (optional POP3 / IMAP4) pop3: 110 (insecure, password sniffer possible) or use 995 if you prefer to use ssl Imap4: 143 (insecure) of use 993 foor imap4 ssl OWA uses port 80 (inbound) This is again insecure if you use basic authentication. Try using a SSL website (port 443). You don't have to open any rpc ports, these ports are only needed if you use a front/back end config. Hope this helps.
