Exchange 5.5 SP4 Outlook 2000 Hi all,
I am looking for information for the logon procedure of Outlook 2000 to an Exchange 5.5 mailbox. We are adding permissions to our mailboxes for our new AD domain, but some Outlook clients are getting prompted for their username and password. I want to be able to log the logon process for Outlook to see where the problem is occurring I am currently using emsmdb32.dll debug version to collect RPC information. How does Outlook authenticate the user account with the mailbox? Is it the Exchange server that does the lookup on a DC with the past credentials from Outlook? How can I monitor this process?
