Make sure that his Outlook XP has the Windows Messenger component unchecked. Tools, Options, Other - uncheck the Messenger thing. See if that helps.

When I hit the retry a process windows come up saying that is "Requesting data from Microsoft Exchange Server" and Outlook is retrieving data from Exchange Server. Have anyone seen this before?
