I am interested in developing a web app that grabs some data from one of my public folders. I am looking at ExOLEDB provider, but am unsure what I need to do inorder to get the provider on my development computer. I use MS visual studios.net for development. my development computer is on my LAN (It is not a full blown test environment with its own domain, etc, so I don't want to setup a new exchange organization).
My app needs to run some queries against data that is stored in a public folder in udf's. If there is a better solution than ExOLEDB I would be interested. Currently, the plan is for this web app to run on the Exchange computer. I would love to be able to run SQL queries agains a dataset of the public folder data. I have been searching, but am not seeing alot of examples of this type of code (or I am not looking in the right place).
