I was aslked by a fellow consultant as to why some mailboxes have MBX:1 addresses in the address list. Not all mailboxes have this address. Just some. Since he took over he is not sure how they got there. I thought it depends on the mail enviornment when created. He tried creating a new mailbox and it did not have a MBX record. Any ideas why some have it and not all. Also what does the MBX address mean?
