Client has a laptop using XP Pro, Outlook XP and a DSL line using POP3 to my remotely located Exch2ksp3 box. About a week ago, the 'enter network password' message started coming up, even though she had not changed her password (it's set so it doesn't expire and can't be changed). Today she received the message: Task 'mail.domain.net - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts.' I checked support and only found a few references: one involving a pix firewall (we're not), one involving front end servers (it's not) and one that says make sure you're on the most recent service pack (it is). I'm going to try reinstalling the sp tonight, but was wondering if anyone else had experienced something similar.
