From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: [Exchange] Allow normal user to enable transport rule Date: Thu, 30 Jul 2015 16:58:17 -0400 Hi all, We have dist group ([email protected]) that goes to all schedule staff, the goal is to allow any of the users to enable an auto-reply for that address at any given time. Since distribution groups are not actual mailboxes OOO is not an option, so I thought transport rule, HOWEVER, I'm not about to let any user shell access to the Exchange server, is there a way to somehow script this? the other option I saw was creating a box associated to the group as listed in this article http://www.puryear-it.com/blog/2014/02/09/sending-automatic-responses-distribution-group-exchange-2010/ , but I was hoping there was another way.
