We're currently running Exchange 2010 SP3 on prem, and using an F5 LTM to load balance our CAS servers with SSL offloading. We have a hybrid with Office 365, with a "hybrid server" that's not part of the F5 pool as certain hybrid functions don't work with SSL offload.
Currently our SMTP to/from the Internet is a pair of Symantec Message gateway boxes, and we'd like to convert that to using EOP. Since the hybrid already has message connectors for inbound/outbound between our on-prem Exchange and Office 365, do we need another connector for EOP? I'm guessing not, and that for inbound we should be able to just adjust our existing MX records to point to Office 365 and we'll be good?
