As long as the LegacyExchangeDN/X500 address remains intact, renaming the Display name or Alias shouldn't affect users emailing those DLs from their Auto Complete list.

Like all users they rely on auto-complete a lot. I know the DL's are in the GAL for them. I am thinking just rename the display name and leave the alias alone as I would a mailbox where someone gets married for example. Am I missing anything on this?
