I've noticed the resource requirements appear higher than the previous release.

I find it hard to imagine all of those are accidental, such as accessing a file that does not exist without checking and/or wrapping this up in some kind of error handling. Its rather shocking that it crashes so often? Anyone else notice this? jlc
